Press your quilt top well. Trim seams and loose threads. Mark the top of the quilt so I will know which way the quilting pattern should run. If the backing has a top and bottom, please mark that also

Allow an extra 4” beyond all sides of the quilt top. 100% pre-washed cotton is recommended. Removing selvedge when piecing the back will help prevent puckering of the back when quilted. (I can sew the backing for you at no extra charge)

You may supply your own batting (allow an extra 4-6 inches beyond all sides of the quilt top) or purchase batting from me. I carry Fairfield Poly-fil extra-loft batting
